New offerings enhance operational resilience through rapid recovery and protection against cyber threats for enterprises.
Rubrik, the company that specializes in Security and AI Operations, today announced its new offerings of Rubrik Intelligent Business Recovery for Microsoft 365 and DevOps Protection for Azure DevOps and GitHub, to provide enterprises with intelligent, automated recovery after a cyber-attack or significant outage. The Rubrik services provide complete data backup and rapid recovery, and allow organizations to quickly restore mission-critical functions for operational resilience. "When outages happen, it can take an enterprise weeks, or even months, to get their teams back online and their data recovered," said Anneka Gupta, Chief Product Officer at Rubrik. "Rubrik's new AI and cyber resilience capabilities make it easy and quick to prioritize and recover your most mission-critical assets, from code repositories to Microsoft 365, that are at the center of any business ultimately so companies can continue to deliver on their existing business strategies while an enterprise does a full data recovery".
Rubrik DevOps Protection addresses critical gaps, introducing a single and trusted protection platform that secures the software and AI development lifecycle. Organizations can now avoid risk of losing, corrupting, or even temporarily incapacitating their most precious intellectual property and development pipeline. Azure DevOps and GitHub customers can now rest assured that their source code and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines are also protected, or at a minimum preserved, along with their other core functions.
DevOps platforms contain critical and valuable intellectual property and artifacts source code, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and AI/ML pipelines, making them an attractive target for security attacks. Recent high-profile breaches are proof that protecting intellectual property in native DevOps platforms is woefully insufficient against modern cyber-attacks. Popular AI agents that may introduce new vulnerability targets for attackers also expose DevOps platforms and environments and by poor code commits at the scale that far exceeds human error.
