PCI Pal appoints Royston Ballard as CISO to lead global cybersecurity, compliance, and secure growth strategy.
Using a cloud-based platform, PCI Pal assists companies in accepting safe payments via chat, email, social media, and voice calls. The business guarantees payment security and adherence to PCI DSS and other industry requirements. Royston Ballard has been named the new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of PCI Pal. After a lengthy and prosperous career in technology and cybersecurity, Geoff Forsyth is retiring, and he takes up the role.
With more than 20 years of expertise in cybersecurity, Royston Ballard has held top leadership positions for more than ten of those years. He has experience working in a range of sectors, including corporate banking, media, entertainment, and fintech. He is famous for leading international cybersecurity initiatives and creating healthy, secure technologies.
Royston will oversee PCI Pal's global cybersecurity and compliance initiatives in his new position. His duties include risk management, making sure PCI DSS rules are followed, encouraging the safe application of computerization and artificial intelligence, and protective healthy cyber resilience. Additionally, he will make sure that cybersecurity advances the organization's overarching commercial objectives.
According to PCI Pal CEO James Barham, Royston's leadership and experience are timely for the company's expansion.
