Trump supports the Navy’s drug boat strike and promises military pay raises and future space defense investments.
President Donald Trump, during the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Navy, appreciated the Navy’s role in the operation and revealed a recent strike on a suspected cartel drug boat during his speech. Trump stated that each of those boats was responsible for the destruction of families and the deaths of 25,000 Americans. “In reality, what we are doing is an excellent act. After another strike last night, we are now struggling to find any more.”
He also warned other nations from attacking the US. “Every ruler and enemy around is aware that they have a simple choice: to leave America alone or face enormous destruction.” He explained plans for the “largest ever investment in our military history” and promised a salary increase for all service members. The Navy will be strengthened, and ports will be improved with this funding. The president said that the United States lost because it became “politically correct.” “We are no longer doing it. We are gaining now,” Trump said. Trump discussed increasing the Navy's power beyond Earth in his speech about the future. He hinted at a future of space-based military technology when he stated, with new investments, they will lead naval defense in space, safeguarding their country and allies from new dangers on Earth and beyond.
