Oracle and NEORide partner to simplify tech adoption for 40 transit organizations and also to simplify operations with AI-powered cloud ERP solutions.
Oracle and NEORide, a multi-state transit alliance, have partnered together to introduce Oracle's AI-powered NetSuite for Government ERP system to 40 transit departments in 11 U.S. states. Operations like finance, payroll, budgeting, human resources, and grant management will all be made simpler by the cloud-based solution.
Through a simplified, Federal Transit Administration (FTA)-compliant purchasing procedure, this partnership supports the use of modern technology by public transit organizations. Because of NEORide's collective financial strength, many of the usual barriers to government procurement have been reduced, giving organizations of all sizes and locations access to modern technology without facing long bidding procedures.
The partnership gives Oracle a chance to grow the use of its cloud ERP products in the public sector. Due to strict budget and complex approval processes, this market has always been challenging to enter. However, by using a consortium-based approach, NEORide gives Oracle an improved method to attract new public-sector customers while lowering sales expenses while improving customer retention.
This system is particularly beneficial for smaller transit providers. Many individuals lack IT resources to update their old systems. Now they can automate routine tasks, improve financial transparency, and use real-time information and analysis to make better decisions because of Oracle's AI-powered platform. This reflects a step towards smart and combined public services. Oracle's NetSuite is important for shaping the path of digital transformation as more government agencies shift to cloud-based, AI-driven solutions.
