In collaboration with Marvel’s new film Venom, HMD Global is introducing a special Venom Edition, showcasing impressive features with the HMD Fusion smartphone, unveiled at IFA 2024
HMD Global was unveiled the HMD Fusion smartphone, debuting at IFA 2024 in September. Priced at €249 (around ₹24,000), HMD Fusion packs a 6.56-inch HD+ display, with a 90Hz refresh rate and runs on Android 14. It is also powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, which boasts configurations up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage that can expand up to 1TB via microSD.
HMD Fusion seems equipped with a powerful camera system - 108-megapixel primary rear camera and a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone is supported by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and comes with connectivity options including Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C.
Further, HMD Fusion has an innovative design with replaceable cases known as Smart Outfits, which enhance functionality. For instance, the Flashy Outfit comes equipped with a ring light and can be charged wirelessly by the Rugged Outfit, which is rated IP68 and also comes equipped with an emergency button.
HMD has announced a limited edition with the Fusion called Venom Edition in partnership with Marvel's new film Venom: The Last Dance that will be on screens worldwide on October 25. It is described as "The Ultimate Symbiotic Phone, this edition teased as having a slight deviation in design, but most of the specifications are going to remain the same as with the model.
