Daren Bland is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Recarta, which was established in 2005 with the aim of becoming a leading IT partner for enterprise infrastructure and managed services. With a deep expertise in IBM Power Servers, Daren began his career in 1992, engineering and brokering RS/6000 servers and parts. He later founded Powercore International, one of the UK's largest computer brokerage companies, which he sold in 2008.

Daren attributes Recarta’s success to its culture of open, honest relationships with clients, partners, and employees. His emphasis on a "can-do" attitude and integrity has been key in building a top-tier IBM solutions and managed services team. Outside of work, Daren enjoys living in East Sussex with his wife and four children, where he tends to his hobby farm with chickens, pigs, sheep, and goats.
