Global Best Companies of the Year 2025
Business Honor
Omegasonics produces ultrasonic cleaners for industrial and precision cleaning in various industries. Cleaning equipment is designed to remove grease, carbon, rust, cuttings/residues, and other contaminants from metals, plastics, or specialized materials. Omegasonics provides ultrasonic cleaning solutions for a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, manufacturing (both large-scale and smaller scale), medical processing/restoration, and additive manufacturing. Each industry has specific cleaning platforms available to ensure that their parts perform well and maintain the necessary procedures by which they operate.
The principles behind Omegasonics ultrasonic cleaning technology are based on using cavitation in a water solution to clean contaminants from surfaces, including hard-to-reach places inside parts. The application of this technology reduces the need for abrasive hand scrubbing and leverages less reliance on solvent-based cleaning solutions. Omegasonics ultrasonic cleaning systems are designed to work in a wide range of manufacturing environments – from smaller workstations to large production or manufacturing facilities that produce large and complex parts. Some are standard configuration and some are custom designed and modified through retrofitting.
Industrial Washers Offered by Omegasonics
Omegasonics Pro Series
For large-scale industrial cleaning, Omegasonics Pro Series is the best ultrasonic cleaning system available today. This unit has been specifically designed to provide customers with the most efficient and effective way to clean components with different types of machinery. Ultrasonics has proven to be an efficient way to effectively remove oils, grease, dirt, chips, machining residue and carbon buildup from hard-to-reach areas, such as inside channels, blinded holes and/or complicatedly shaped items.
The Omegasonics Pro Series uses the process of generating ultrasonic sound waves in water-based cleaners (via cavitation). As these ultrasonic sound waves create millions of bubbles within the water, they create a very powerful microscopic "cleaning" action that can penetrate through narrow openings, threaded holes, or irregularly shaped parts that otherwise would be almost impossible to clean without the aid of brushes or soaking solutions. This type of cleaning can significantly reduce the amount of manual handling of components while ensuring proper and consistent cleaning results can be attained on all types of components. Examples of parts that can be cleaned by this type of system include carburetors, tube assemblies, and other precision mechanical devices, without complete disassembly or use of abrasive chemicals to aid in the cleaning process.
Table Top Cleaners
For large-scale industrial cleaning, Omegasonics Pro Series is the best ultrasonic cleaning system available today. This unit has been specifically designed to provide customers with the most efficient and effective way to clean components with different types of machinery. The Table Top units are constructed with insulated stainless steel tanks, and include adjustable heating and ultrasonic intensity controls to support different cleaning conditions and material types. Thermal protection systems are integrated to manage operating temperatures during extended use, while stainless steel lids help maintain solution containment during cleaning cycles. The compact format allows the equipment to be incorporated into workbenches, repair stations, and smaller production areas without significant facility modifications.
Multi-Stage Ultrasonic Cleaners
Designed specifically for industrial cleaning operations that necessitate multiple progressive washing, rinsing and drying processes in a single workflow. These systems are designed for organizations that process components that must be cleaned through multiple steps of contamination removal prior to evaluation, assembly, coating and/or packaging. While ensuring high levels of production efficiency, these systems are designed to maintain consistent process performance throughout repetitive cleaning processes.
With a multi-stage design, components can be moved through individual wash/rinse stages of cleaning/rinsing (with each stage having a specific function as part of the overall cleaning process). The ultrasonic wash stages removes contaminants from the surface and internal voids of the component, while the rinse stages assist in removing the cleaning solutions and residual build-up of contamination from the component. Each of the drying stages also helps to remove moisture from the component prior to storage or the implementation of follow-on manufacturing steps. The use of this stage configuration can benefit precision components, industrial organizations and production parts requiring a controlled process of cleaning.
Each of the systems is fabricated from insulated stainless steel tanks and has independent temperature controllers for the individual cleaning/rinsing/drying stages. Filters are supplied to filter out contamination from the wash or rinse stages as a means of maintaining the ability to efficiently use each stage for the continued operational use.
