Night School
Blyth Academy Night School offers a unique and personal learning experience that is intended to ensure the achievement of academic excellence beyond the confines of the student’s home school. The small class sizes, averaging 12 students, offer each student personal and one-on-one attention and guidance. The 15-week structured course allows each student to progress academically, earn credits, and enrich their studies in core subjects, all while still attending their home school. The night school offers evening classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Additional teacher support is available until 9:30 p.m. to offer each student additional guidance and one-on-one assistance. The classes can be either virtual or in-class, with the same interactive, immersive, and high-quality experience regardless of the student’s geographical location. The virtual classes offer live classes, real-time interaction with the teacher, and schedules to ensure each student is engaged and responsible. The Night School focuses on personal learning, hands-on experiences, and practical supports to build each student’s confidence, as well as independence and effective time management. The Night School offers each student an affordable tuition, a variety of courses for Grades 11 and 12, and an emphasis on student success.
Summer School
Blyth Academy Summer Studies is an opportunity for students to advance academically while having a well-rounded and exciting experience during the summer. The average class has only 12 students, and expert teachers ensure that every student has the chance to improve their skills and knowledge. The students have the chance to advance credits, get a head start on prerequisites, or explore areas of new academic interest.
The summer courses are available through the traditional in-person experience in July or through the virtual Blyth Academy Orbit, which is an online school with real-time teaching, scheduling, and the “cameras on” approach. This way, the students have the best experience possible. Monday through Friday, the classes are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the students have the option to work independently or attend teacher offices until 3:30 p.m. This way, the student has the chance to have fun during the summer while having the chance to work on their skills and knowledge.
Blyth Academy Summer Studies has over 40 years of experience in education. The experience is combined with the best approach in academic rigor, personalized guidance, and skill development, which ensures that the student remains enthusiastic, confident, and prepared for future academic success.
