Most Innovative Companies to Watch 2026
Business Honor
Automotives Cloud is building the operating system of the modern automotive dealership. Its platforms already serve approximately 6,500 dealerships, with more than 2.5 million vehicles processed through Autocerfa, while Jouver is operational across 80 countries.
Founded in 2017, Automotives Cloud is focused on building smarter Dealership Management Systems (DMS) that help automotive businesses operate more efficiently. Its vision is to make the DMS the central platform for a dealership, connecting stock, CRM, invoicing, vehicle data, advertising, administration, financing, warranties and other essential services.
The company first established this model in France through Autocerfa. Building on this experience and technology, Automotives Cloud developed Jouver to take its DMS model internationally, with the platform now operational across 80 countries.
The company's technology is built around real dealership workflows, reducing manual data entry and connecting specialised third-party services through integrations and APIs. Rather than replacing every provider, Automotives Cloud brings the right partners into one connected environment.
Its guiding principle is straightforward: technology should make dealership operations simpler, faster and more profitable.
Interview Highlights with Michel Sedaghat
What are Automotives Cloud’s key platforms and services, and what specific problems do they solve?
Our core business is DMS technology, with two principal platforms.
Jouver is our international Dealership Management System. It gives dealerships a central platform to manage vehicles, stock, customers, leads, sales, invoices, documents, and the wider commercial lifecycle of a vehicle.
Autocerfa is our DMS dedicated to the French market and the platform through which we established this model.
What makes the DMS particularly powerful is everything connected to it. We integrate with major automotive partners and services across insurance, mechanical warranties, vehicle financing, vehicle data, advertising marketplaces, and accounting and administrative services.
Instead of asking a dealer to move between multiple disconnected systems, our strategy is to bring these services into the dealership's existing workflow.
We also operate complementary technologies including Centre SIV and Auto-Intelligence, but these support the wider Automotives Cloud strategy: the DMS remains at the centre.
What makes Automotives Cloud different from other automotive technology and data companies?
We are not building software from a theoretical understanding of dealerships. We have years of real transactional experience.
6,500 dealerships and 2.5 million vehicles processed through Autocerfa provide an enormous amount of practical knowledge about how automotive businesses actually operate.
We understand the complete journey of a vehicle inside a dealership: acquisition, vehicle identification, stock management, documentation, pricing, advertising, customer management, financing, warranty, invoicing and sale.
This experience directly influenced Jouver.
Another major difference is our philosophy toward third-party services. We don't believe the DMS should try to become the insurance company, bank, warranty company or marketplace.
Our role is to connect the best automotive partners directly to the dealer through the DMS.
The dealer stays inside one environment while multiple specialised businesses and technologies operate behind it.
How does Automotives Cloud ensure its vehicle data is accurate, secure, reliable and accessible across international markets?
This becomes particularly important when operating a DMS across international markets.
There is no single worldwide automotive database. VIN information, registrations, vehicle specifications, taxation and administrative requirements vary significantly between countries.
We use APIs and structured integrations to connect our platforms with appropriate automotive data providers and services. Information can then be normalised and presented consistently within the DMS.
Security and traceability are equally important because a DMS manages commercially sensitive business information, customer information, vehicle documentation and financial records.
Our objective is to handle that complexity in the background. The dealership should have a simple experience even when multiple data sources and services are communicating behind the scenes.
How is Automotives Cloud leveraging AI, automation, APIs and big data?
For us, AI and automation have a very practical objective: reduce the amount of manual work required to operate a dealership.
Consider a single used vehicle. A dealer enters or retrieves the vehicle information once. That same information can then be reused for stock management, valuation, advertising, customer proposals, financing, warranty, invoicing and accounting. Traditionally, the same information can be entered several times into different systems.
Our approach is different: enter or retrieve the information once and reuse it throughout the DMS.
APIs allow us to communicate with external automotive services automatically. AI can assist with vehicle identification, data interpretation, market analysis and decision-making. Automation can then perform repetitive processes that previously required human intervention.
Our experience with automotive transactions has also given us extensive knowledge of how automotive workflows operate and how data moves through a dealership.
What are Automotives Cloud’s key growth drivers?
Our first growth driver is Jouver's international expansion. The platform is already operational across 80 countries, so our objective is now to increase the number of dealerships using it and deepen the functionality and integrations available in individual markets.
The second driver is the continuous expansion of services available directly through the DMS. Insurance, warranties and financing are good examples. These are not peripheral to the vehicle sale; they are part of the transaction. As more services are connected to the DMS, Automotives Cloud becomes increasingly embedded in the dealership’s daily operation. Integrating the right partners at the right point in the DMS creates value for the dealership, the partner and ultimately the customer.
The third driver is automation. Every manual process we successfully automate makes our DMS more valuable and scalable.
How does Automotives Cloud maintain performance and scalability as its customer base and international operations expand?
We have designed Jouver specifically for international scale. A traditional approach would effectively create a different DMS for every country. That becomes extremely difficult to maintain.
Instead, Jouver has a common core with the ability to integrate country-specific data, currencies, languages, taxation rules, partners and services. This allows us to take the technology and experience developed through Autocerfa and adapt it to different international markets. APIs and modular architecture allow us to add or change individual services without rebuilding the entire platform.
Our experience operating Autocerfa at significant scale in France has also been extremely valuable. It gives us a very practical understanding of reliability, automation and scalability.
What is Automotives Cloud’s long-term vision?
Our long-term objective is straightforward: we want Jouver to become a leading global DMS for automotive dealerships.
We want the DMS to become the operating system of the dealership. A dealer should be able to acquire a vehicle, identify it, bring it into stock, manage its documents, determine its price, advertise it, manage leads, sell it, arrange financing, offer insurance or warranty products, invoice the customer and complete the associated business processes without continuously moving between disconnected software.
Autocerfa proved the depth of this model in France. Jouver is now taking that experience and technology globally, with a common platform that can adapt to the requirements of individual markets.
Michel Sedaghat – Founder & CEO
Michel Sedaghat is the Founder and CEO of Automotives Cloud, the automotive technology company behind Jouver and Autocerfa.
He founded Automotives Cloud in 2017 with the objective of modernising dealership-management technology and bringing the different processes required to operate an automotive business into a single DMS.
Under his leadership, Autocerfa established Automotives Cloud's DMS model in France, providing the foundation for the company's international expansion through Jouver.
Michel's strategy is based on a simple principle: the DMS should sit at the centre of the dealership and connect the technologies and commercial partners surrounding the vehicle transaction.
The company's ambition is now to establish Jouver as a major international DMS and create a platform through which dealerships worldwide can manage their business and access automotive services from one connected environment.
